General Regulation
1 mg per serving, up to 5 servings per package (resealable). For on-premise consumption, must be able to measure out 1mg per serving.
The state licenses distributors and retailers. Distributors can only sell to other licensed entities, while retailers can sell to consumers. Nothing prohibits entities from holding both licenses. On-premise is allowed subject to the 1mg per serving requirement.

In at least 6 point font, include:
1. The business(es) or tradename(s) and license number(s) of the licensee(s) who produced the product;
2. The business or tradename and license number of the licensee selling the product;
3. Unique identifier
4. Net weight of the product prior to its placement in the package (in ounces, grams, or volume as appropriate)
5. Total THC and Total CBD in milligrams (mg); (Must be in font larger than size 6, bolded, underlined and in red) * Per Single Serving (Cannot exceed 1mg THC) * Per Package (Cannot exceed 5mg THC) **Hemp derived tinctures may contain up to 100mg Total THC
6. The serving size
7. The number of servings per package
8. If solvents were used in production, statement that discloses the type of extraction method, including any solvents, gases, or other chemicals or compounds used to produce or that are added to the extract
9. Any applicable instructions for use and safe storage; and

Prohibitions: 1. Any medical claims; 2. Anything that reasonably appears to target individuals under the age of twenty-one (21), including but not limited to: • Use of animal characters, • Toys, • Cartoon characters or • Similar images; 3. Any false or misleading statements including false or misleading statements regarding health or physical benefits or as to the composition and profiles; 4. Any seal, flag, crest, coat of arms, or other insignia that could reasonably mislead any reasonably prudent person to believe that the product has been endorsed, produced or manufactured by the State of Rhode Island or any agency thereof or municipality within; 5. Images of children or minors; 6. Words, designs or brands that resemble a product that is commonly associated with children or minors or marketed to children or minors; 7. Symbols or celebrities that are commonly used to market products to minors; 8. Words or any reference to “candy” or “candies.”
WARNING STATEMENT: “Warning: This product is not certified to be free of contaminants, is derived from industrial hemp, is not medical marijuana, and has not been analyzed or approved by the FDA."
If the package contains multiple servings, the container must be resealable. For a can, that limits the top to the XO style. Packaging must otherwise be child resistant per 16 CFR Part 1700.

• Protect the product from contamination
• Be Child-Resistant
• Not impart any toxic substance to the hemp product
