Adopted the Farm Bill threshold of 0.3% THC by dry weight. D8 is prohibited. June 11, 2025 State AG Opinion (non binding but stronly persuasive) seems to indicate products containing THC that aren't approved by the FDA are illegal. At least one county (Jackson County) is enforcing that view.
No license currently to sell. Note that the state has wet/dry counties. We suggest limiting sales to wet counties to the extent you choose to sell into the state at all. See https://www.dor.ms.gov/abc/wetdrymaps.
The state has opined through the Attorney General twice: once that hemp beverages could be illegal if consuming them in excess would produce intoxication. The second time, most recently, that any product containing THC for ingestion that is not blessed by the US FDA is illegal unless it goes through the medical dispensary system. The second opinion is a strong suggestion, not a binding rule, though enforcement efforts may suggest otherwise.
