State enforcement arms interpret hemp products as marijuana. The state caps edible marijuana food products at 10mg per serving or 100 mg per package.

Attorney General Kris Mayes issued letters to Arizona law enforcement agencies and retailers, making it clear that the sale of THC-infused products without a valid marijuana establishment license is illegal. Litigation challenging the state's interpretation is pending.

If the hemp lobby sees success in the courts, the labeling and packaging requirements will not apply.
