As of Jan. 1, 2026 all hemp product distributors and retailers must register with the HI DOH.

As of Jan. 1, 2026, the state's unfair trade practice act applies to hemp products, which typically is used to enforce the 'attractive to minors' prohibitions and contains its penalty provisions.
